Quilt

Quilts & duvets are mostly not recyclable because they are often made of synthetic fibers that can be toxic to the environment; natural materials can be recycled a few times by getting mixed with other types of fibers but this also cannot be done multiple times. Due to these characteristics, it cannot be disposed of in the recycling bin.

Quilts can be donated to local animal shelters, animal rescue charities, homeless shelters, or senior centers.
