 Paper

Method: Recycle

White Paper:
White paper should always be recycled, whether it is used or not. You can dispose of used paper in regular recycling bins without any extra special steps.

Colored Paper:
Papers that are brightly colored by ink should not be recycled. This is because the dyes may affect the other papers that are being recycled, lowering the quality of the recyclables. Therefore, please do not include any brightly colored paper in the regular recycling bins.

Shredded Paper

Picture
Shredded paper cannot be recycled. Shredding a piece of paper shortens its fibers, making shredded paper too small and invaluable to recyclers. It may also contaminate the recycling process by slipping past the papermaking screens.
