Although recyclable, markers cannot be thrown into a regular curbside recycling bin. Instead, recycling organizations such as TerraCycle hosts a program on recycling markers. You can sign up for their program page here and mail the markers using a prepaid shipping label.
Reuse
Marker tips can be dipped into water and reused as water color paint.
