The Recycling Dictionary works to raise awareness about the importance of recycling and educate people on the correct recycling method. We focus on educating specifically young students, who will carry the future responsibility of protecting the earth. By teaching the significance of recycling, we hope to inspire youth to take action and maintain a sustainable environment, today and in the future.

What we do

Children's Book

The Founder and President of The Recycling Dictionary, Jiin Yun, published a children’s book about what recycling is, why it is important, and how to recycle 26 unique items, each representing a letter of the alphabet. It is in an interactive workbook format, including engaging questions and kid-friendly activities such as word search, matching, and crossword puzzles.

Workshop for Kids

One of our main goals is to reach as many young students as possible. In an effort to target a broader group of students, The Recycling Dictionary hosts workshops across Southern California for young learners, which has educated over 500 students.
