Colored pencils can be recycled because they are made of wood. If your colored pencil is made of real, untreated wood, just make sure to remove the eraser and/or the metal ferrule to recycle your pencil. Refer to our pencil section to learn more ways to lengthen your colored pencils’ lifespan.
